Citation by: Ashley Hill Type of Reference: Bibliography Call Number: 016.3058 Description: Bibliographies of children’s books that cover different cultures. Relevance and Relationship: This is a good resource for the school library as many teachers do not know where to locate material that students would read about their own culture. Purpose: To assist educators and SLMS in finding children’s books specific to cultures. Validity: The publisher has been in business for over thirty years and has published textbooks, reference materials, and other items used to help students learn. Format: Annotated bibliographies with spate lists of children’s books for a total of 299 pages. Arrangement and Presentation: Listed by ethnic groups and subdivided into biography, folklore, picture books, fiction for middle readers, reference books, and nonfiction.
