Review # 2 was written on 2012-09-14 00:00:00 Larry Denton Teenager meets 33-year-old man at a party in Paris. They share romantic dance and soulful connection, but he is a rebel, baby -- a loner, and he amscrays abruptly from her life. They meet again two years later when his grandmother (the h is unaware of the connection) hires the h to take care of the H's niece. He's rude and suspicious, and she is miserable until she learns how to shut off her emotions and tells him he's lost his power over her, at which point he suddenly decides it's impossible to fight her charms anymore and does a cheesy romantic gesture (Le Gesture du Fromage), confesses his love, explains that he has always been a rebel, baby -- a loner, but when he met her he knew he had found what he was looking for, which explains why he fought it for years and only ended up meeting her again by complete chance. Congratulations, Monsieur Le Grand Cheeseball, you've convinced her. Anyone with any sense who reads this, however, knows that she is already far too mature for you. |
