Review # 1 was written on 2019-08-16 00:00:00 Jon Schneider This one was OK, just not riveting. I found it a bit slow in places and I found some of the UK-speak a bit hard to follow in a few places. Interesting story line though. |
Review # 2 was written on 2020-11-18 00:00:00 Chris Reitan "Bath & Wells Television is about to open its new studios and Mr Pringle, retired tax inspector and part-time sleuth, is invited to make a guest appearance on its first nationwide broadcast. In the production gallery the usual pre-transmission pandemonium reigns, exacerbated by first-night nerves and the obnoxious behavior of Christopher Gordon, the new (and widely disliked) Programme Director. When the light fail mid-countdown, it seems that things couldn't be going worse for the fledgling TV station. But then, when they come on again, Christopher Gordon is lying, murdered, on the gallery floor." Started off confusedly but got somewhat more steady as it went along. |
