Review # 1 was written on 2008-12-20 00:00:00 Joseph Campbell "Read" this on my lunch break, it is more of a photojournal than a book. Usually I would give the token 4 stars for an animal book, but not this one. It focuses more on the trainer, ex-biker Chris Gallucci (sp? I don't know), than Timbo the old elephant. I want to know more about the elephant, Gallucci just goes on an on with his stunted grammar and life philosophies. So the guy had a tough adolescence-what's the point? Guess I am just not feeling very compassionate today. I guess I don't understand why this was made into a book.

Review # 2 was written on 2008-12-03 00:00:00 Drew Chamness Picked it up at random from the library shelves - picture books always catch my eye. Unusual book about an unusual man and unusual elephant.
