Tome & Leslie (authors) leave no stone unturned -- they address it all. I xeroxed lots of pages relating to different topics and learned some interesting facts along the way, as well. For example, did you know that our kitchens are making us fat? It's true! The homes of the 50's were about 80 square feet and had walls on 4 sides. Families were "forced" to take their food out of the kitchen & eat in the dining room. Today's kitchens are larger to act as the family gathering space. Kitchen islands are one of the most requested new kitchen features and with them comes the tendency to serve food buffet style. Review # 2 was written on 2013-10-05 00:00:00 Tho Do A pretty good starter book to home improvements. There are some helpful tips, but mostly the book is about empowering new home owners. It's important to believe that nothing in a house is rocket science and that with patience and the right tools, anyone can keep a house in good working order.
