Review # 1 was written on 2018-12-05 00:00:00 Johnn Jack We need more books about children's allergies and the difficulty to say goodbye to your pet friends. I loved the first part of the book, but disagreed with the second part. The golden fish had to go through a lot of very stressful and dangerous situations (brought to a movie theater, pulled to a tree house, transported in a cart on the street). It is not presented this way, but there would have been a high chance for this fish not to survive so much stress. I didn't feel like Aaron was taking a good care of the fish.

Review # 2 was written on 2019-06-11 00:00:00 Tina Jones Aaron loved animals and had many pets. In the summer he got sick and the doctor said he was allergic to his pets. They all had to go. Aaron was very sad for awhile - until he discovered the benefits of a different pet from his parents, and how to still enjoy animals. Fabulous illustrations.
