This book "A goal in Sight" written by Jacqueline Guest with a lexile of 770. In this book a kid named aidan walsh plays hockey. Aiden is the best hitter on the team then he gets charged with assault because he got in a fight so he has to do 100 community service hours. When he gets assigned with a blind person he doesn't know what to do. Intel he found out he plays hockey. And realizes that teasing and bullying people isn't cool In the book i think its main idea is to teach us never judge a book by its cover. Because the boy started out making fun of people and fighting them to having a good time and playing with a blind hockey team. So at the start of the book he wanted to hit and fight and bully other people. Towards the end of the book he wanted to be a goal scorer and stop fighting and bullying other people. "The kid reached for the equipment bag and all of a sudden aiden felt like he was in fire. He jumped down off the bad and shoved the boy hard" pg.14 Aiden looked down at his hands. I would have looked after him he mumbled. picking on a kid like eric just isn't cool This book is really good the best part is it's not really predictable. I didn't know what was going to happen. It's a hockey book and i'm in hockey that's another reason why i like it. This book is probably one of my favorites just right hard or to easy. My favorite part was when he told him he played hockey and that he had to skate with him. The ending was really good.
