Review # 1 was written on 2010-04-06 00:00:00 Lucille Caron I picked up this play after reading and really enjoying the book, but The Wars does not translate well to play-form in my opinion. Robert's character has to be changed around in order to show and not rely on the narrative and what were such important plot-points in the book are skimmed over in order to boil down the story into a suitable length. Disappointing. |
Review # 2 was written on 2012-10-21 00:00:00 Robert Martin Story fell a little short for me, however I GOT it. B- With a good enough cast and smart staging, this could be enjoyable. |
