Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-27 00:00:00 Chris Toovey I have heard of Arthur Hodge in my research of Tortola, and decided to learn more about him. This book was enlightening in showing that the killing of slaves was not the driving force that led Arthur Hodge to his death, but was an excuse used by a fellow planter to obtain revenge. I think it was useful that the author included the sources of his research and what led him to write the book. I will use the sources listed to read more on this subject.
