Review # 1 was written on 2015-10-11 00:00:00 David Platter The former ruler of the planet called Granary will put herself through any trial to stop her grandson, now a madman determined to bring all of Granary into a state of crushed servitude. We follow various people of the resistance movement from the depths of defeat to a seemingly impossible victory. It has been 20 years since I read an Ardath Mayhar. I remember them as enchanting in world and character. SHOCK TREATMENT is a concept novel only; the characters and world have not been brought to life. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-07-06 00:00:00 Damon Wooley Much darker than I usually read. An interesting take on the Beowulf mythology. |
