Review # 1 was written on 2018-02-17 00:00:00 Nura Aliz This is a mystery book about people of the past who's life and death remain a mystery. The first story is of a queen of ancient Egypt who mysteriously disappeared off of record but a woman named Joann Fletcher found a mummy she believes is the queen. The next story is of an alleged prince who was stabbed to death but the reason why remains a mystery. The next story is of the last Yahi. The last story is of a man found in the mountains who lived over 5,300 years ago. The mystery lies in his death. This book is filled with pictures that would particularily interest young boys. There are many gruesome and interesting pictures. There is also a glossary in the back to explain some words used in the book as well as resources to find out more information on these mysterious people. Children love mysteries and to give them unsolved mysterious that are true would thrill them.

Review # 2 was written on 2013-02-04 00:00:00 Daniel Burke I especially enjoyed reading about children's author Bruce Coville because he grew up not far from where I presently live, and I met him last year at a writer's conference. He's a lively and humorous speaker. Kids who like his books should be encouraged to read this biography.
