Review # 1 was written on 2015-07-12 00:00:00 Joe Piro The book is addressed mostly to psychologists who are open to incorporating religious and spiritual perspectives into their research and clinical practice, rather than to those of us who wish to incorporate psychology into our personal spiritual practice. Being among the latter, the parts of the book I found most interesting are those which trace the history of how psychology grew out of ancient religion and philosophy and in modern times came to distance itself from those roots, to its own detriment.
