Review # 2 was written on 2009-12-18 00:00:00 Andrea Parks This is a fantastic book that tells about dinosaurs so well. I have always loved and been interested in dinosaurs, so I picked this book quite easily. It has references to every dinosaur known to man thus far, so it is a huge book. It is very easy to read and super interesting, and I think any kid who read it would learn a ton. It is super colorful on the outside and inside, so it grabs your attention from the get go. (It also has a huge, snarling T-Rex on the front, which will also grab your attention.) Inside the book, there are many different types of pages. There is an entire index of all the dinosaurs they have discovered, complete with their diet, size, and geographic location. It also has pages that take one specific dinosaur and talk about it in depth, and with colorful pictures right beside. It is very interesting, and you don't even know you are learning as much as you are. This book would really excite any of the readers, you don't even have to be an avid lover of dinosaurs. It was super fun to read and browse the pages. That's another great thing about this book, you can just read a few pages, or just the pages you are interested in. There's no need to read everything. I would recommend this book to help with doing a research project and for just entertainment.
