Review # 1 was written on 2017-07-17 00:00:00 Larry Roderick Awesome!!! A must read for any student of culture. Thus was a far more complex yet nuanced study than I had anticipated. Lots to think on here. I didn't appreciate this first volume until I had completed the second. It's a lot to push through, but worth every word.

Review # 2 was written on 2021-06-08 00:00:00 William Conlon I teach an intro to Psychology course, and am now using the 8th edition of the book. The author does a superb job at explaining the science behind the findings, and does make the material accessible to students.
