This is a wonderful resource book for preteen readers who are interested in aviation and the different types of airplanes. It has wonderful illustrations/photographs that will interest all age readers. It includes a nice vocabulary in the back of the book, which is good since it includes many difficult words.

A lot of fun, a collection of short stories about bush pilots and flying in the great state of Alaska. I liked how the author lauded the talents and personalities of the pilots and characters he meets and underemphasis his own role in the story. He writes with irreverence about the perils and reverence about the characters he flew with. Sometimes you just need to read candy. This book is it.
