Review # 2 was written on 2011-02-24 00:00:00 Allen Probert This was a sweet little book, decently written, and just perfect for vacation. Kate is a New York book editor, sent out to L.A. to help famous actress Lydia Southland write her memoirs. Lydia, Kate and all the people around them have had struggles they've kept secret and all these come out during the process. Both ladies find love, and though it's all terribly predictable, it's also very sweet. The ending is tied up in a nice little bow and they all live happily ever after, which is just what one expects from this type of book. A worthwhile read, if you're going to a beach, or that's the kind of thing you're into. |
