Review # 2 was written on 2008-06-18 00:00:00 Todd Darby Well, I finished the book last night and I still hold my belief that Johanna Lindsey's writing is not as good as it has been in the past. The story seemed rushed and the romance between the two characters was pushed instead of being allowed to develop on its own. I was really hoping this book would demonstrate the type of writing that Lindsey is well known for from her previous novels, but that wasn't the case. I hate to say this, but if this is an example of what Lindsey is has become, I would rather she stop writing altogether. I want to remember her for the heartfelt, powerful novels she has written in the past, not for the tripe she is writing these days.
