When Piggie is excited to dance with her friend, Gerald, she comes to learn an important fact; elephants cannot dance. It is clearly stated on page 11 of 'All Things Elephants Can Do', a book that Gerald is quick to show. However, Piggie has a way around this and begins lessons, hoping that Gerald will be able to follow. Things do not go as planned, but not all is lost and Gerald ends up learning a thing or two about himself. Neo likes this series and was keen to read it to me. He tackled it with confidence and left me pleased to see how dedicated he was to reading everything on the page. Perhaps I will hunt down the rest of this series for another weekend of reading!

Mo Willems is a name you think parallel to Dr. Seuss. Piggy is hell bent on teaching Gerald some moves. Artistic drawings, less-words-more-fun approach and a pigeon hidden in every book of this series makes it a compelling read! I am going to read this to my first baby while he's still in our womb with an ultrasound microphone. And it on goodreads from his account as read!
