I would have given it one star since the majority of the volume is as repetitive as usual, but the last 10-15% was a little more interesting than usual. Clarissa takes some big chances in this one, and much of Mr. Lovelace's scheming comes to light.

Schesinger, A. (1983). The almanac of american history. New York, NY: Putnam. Chris Brown Call Number: E174.5 .A45 1983 This almanac gives us a wealth of information about the dealings of American History from a complete historical perspective. This almanac which would be a non circulating almanac in the high school library is a must have for people trying to gain a greater understanding of American History. This almanac would be good for a high school because it gives students studying for AP US History tests the ability to gain a greater since of knowledge about their given topics.
