Once you meet Aloha in the first book, you want to continue to follow along with the guide dog's life. This story shares the impact Aloha has on the lives of Diego, the boy who trained her, and Kimberly Louise, the blind woman who counts on the dog for independence and companionship. The book also serves as a guide for understanding the challenges blind people face and offers an example of how to overcome some of life's unexpected difficulties.
