For general series review read my review of volume 1. The review ahead is rife with spoilers. Meg and her friends charge head first into what they know will be a trap in an attempt to find another magic book to hopefully help Meg return to her natural form as a boy. Everyone of Megumis Musketeers gets a chance to shine in this final battle (yes, even Yasuda) and most excitingly we finally discover the truth behind Megumi's wish. I love the way it ties in perfectly with Miki's past as well. I loved when the action has subsided how Megumi breaks her own spell with a fairytale kiss with Genzo. After the kiss is when we learn the truth of Megumi's wish. If anyone else has read both this and Gatcha Gacha do you get a bit of a similar vibe between the two with the 'girl being a prince on a white horse' themes? A well thought out ending and an action packed climax. I recommend this series for fans of Ranma 1/2, but feel the characters and story outstrip the other work (much more satisfying ending too in my opinion) but also think most fans of manga will have a great deal of fun with the series.
