Review # 1 was written on 2013-04-20 00:00:00 Matthew Hays This study of several Western women was interesting. Scharff examined the women and their relationship to the West. To them, was the West something to be created or changed? something to experience or just a place? How is place created? I liked that she studied several women of different races. I am curious to learn more about the women she mentioned.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-01-28 00:00:00 David Sargeant Some interesting stories and some not so interesting... kind of stalled out on the last one as the subject was not at the same caliber as the other subjects.
