Review # 1 was written on 2018-07-26 00:00:00 Mike Eustace I stumbled on this slim volume several months after the A&E movie appeared in December 2001. The copy was printed in 1939, the fortieth edition since the original publication in 1919. It contains several articles on the make-up of the 308th Infantry Regiment, a memorial address, a description of the key action, and numerous poems by Private Mccollum describing the experiences of the American Doughboy in Europe in 1918. Included are masterful illustrations by Franklin Sly and Thomas R. Reamer. |
Review # 2 was written on 2019-04-22 00:00:00 Eric Wild My book is copyright 1929. |
