Listen folks, this story may seem sort of over simplistic or uninteresting to an adult, but it's true to life for a child. I like the fact that this story explores the dynamics and realistic situations rarely seen in children's literature. I love imaginative books. I love ridiculous, over the top stories with bright colors and unbelievable characters. I like those elements in the stories I read as an adult. Sometimes. But it's also nice to read something down to earth - relatable. Now I don't typically read relatable stories, but I like to change it up sometimes. Kids do too. This book was a nice change.

Quite a simple but effective book. This book wasn't as creative or imaginative as other picture books but it is effective in teaching kids a lesson in their school environment. This will likely be boring for adults.
