Review # 1 was written on 2021-02-11 00:00:00 Gary Tremaine Tween twins Emma and Payton are starting 7th grade at a new school. Throughout their earlier school years they have established separate identities. Emma is the "smart" one while Payton is the "popular" one. Both are happy to stay in their lane until there is a lunchroom disaster and Payton needs a minute to regroup. Emma proposes that they switch places -- just for the afternoon -- until things settle down a bit. Suddenly they are both literally walking in the other's shoes. What will they discover about these new people and activities that might make them want to continue to grow and change? What new things will they learn about each other? Permeated with supportive sisterhood and reasonable parenting, this first book in the series makes me want to see what happens next for Emma and Payton. I love it that Julia and her twin Jennifer collaborated on this series. So much fun! |
Review # 2 was written on 2010-09-26 00:00:00 Tracy Kunca i loved this i read this through my bff's it is about to identical twins that trade places at school and have to whole different perspectives on life! One is very popular and the other just kinda hangs in her shadow nerdy and smart! I love it to death. This relates to two of my best friends Trinit and Jordan but they both are smart and beautiful and un-nerdy in every way!!! |
