Review # 1 was written on 2013-10-01 00:00:00 Doug Smith This is classified as a gift book. I actually purchased this for my sister when she graduated high school and moved to New York City for college. This book makes many good points. I knew that my sister was a large part of my life and that we did many things together, but I never realized how many others did the same things we did. I smiled the entire time I read this. It also impacted me greatly because my sister moved back to New York City and gave me this book. I am going to miss her, but this book made me realize she's still going to be a large part of my life. There are no real characters in this book. It's all from siblings points of view. At first, the narrators seem annoyed with their sisters. They believe life will be much greater without them. As the story goes on, they realize their entire life would change if they had no sisters. They realize they need their sisters. The setting changes on every page. It's a picture book so there isn't much, if any description as to where each page takes place. I believe the theme of this book to be family. You should always love your family and always be thankful for them. I would recommend this book to anyone with a sister. It will make you smile. |
