Lt & me is a great book, it is based off of a retired NFL player's mom that tells her sons life stories through her eyes, from the time he was born till the time he played in his first NFL playoff game. It is a type of book that tell stories that you can cry to for its sad moments and even laugh and smile to for its joyful moments while reading the words. Even though this book is based upon football, it still shows life stories and how hard it was growing up in the Tomlinson family. From the mother Loreane, having to work two jobs while the father was becoming an alcoholic to a 30 year old women trying to kiss a 10 year old Ladainian. From moving to different parts of Texas every couple years to going to college and not having money to eat dinner except for ramen noodles. With all these things going on they show examples of how they kept faith over all the years. In Ladainian's senior year of high school he wrote a letter to his mother explaining that he was going to go to college, he was going to become a professional football player, and make her the proudest mom in the world. With all the things he accomplished while in the NFL and as well as when he was not in the NFL, his mother explained to him at the end of the book that, from the day he was born he had made her the proudest mom she could ever possibly be. Throughout everything that happened in his life he still kept his promises and accomplished everything that was on that letter for his mom. With that being said this book is a 5 out of 5 to me, just the way the author explains and tells the stories in such detail makes it that good. As well as it being so very inspirational it is all around a great book. If your into football or just need some inspiration to do what you love and or keep faith, this is the right book for you.

Really wanted to read this book because LaDanian Tomlinson seems like such a great man. Hopefully can find some tidbits to use with my boys who think he is awesome on the football field as well. This book wasn't what I had hoped, learned alot about LT's life but didn't get the tidbits I was looking for. Did have some take aways but...
