Review # 1 was written on 2015-04-06 00:00:00 Christopher Kessler As a book that was published a decade ago, it is still pretty relevant to colleges in the U.S. today. Aside from the clear outdated information, every bit of information is valuable and can be applied to college learning. I'm a sophomore currently, so I have learned a great much before reading this book. I skimmed over what I knew in detail, but read what I found to be interesting anyway. Nonetheless, there were many things I did not know throughout the book. If you're a high school senior or college freshman, this book will help you greatly. Remember that what's mentioned about emailing professor's is beyond necessary now and the sources professor's use online is usually BlackBoard nowadays. It's best to find your weaknesses and strengthen them along the read. Have a great read! |
Review # 2 was written on 2014-07-01 00:00:00 Cedric De Borchgrave This is a helpful resource for students who need additional assistance with time management and transitioning into college from high school or for re-entry. The chapters are very straightforward, creative, and give hands-on practical counsel. I say its a must for any teacher's library. |
