Review # 1 was written on 2009-03-26 00:00:00 Bernice Timmons This much-promising biography took me ages to get through as my attention waxed and waned considerably. I was hoping for a straight-forward biography but was disappointed when found it to be interspersed with "how Marguerite came to write the Heptameron".

Review # 2 was written on 2009-05-01 00:00:00 Terry Johnson I don't think it's a bad book, at all, but it's just really not my sort of book. Found it very hard to stay focused on, partly because of the writing style (I appreciate the idea behind it but it's just not for me).
