Review # 1 was written on 2016-05-04 00:00:00 Eric Soucy the class I had that this textbook was for, was very interesting!! and I learned a lot from it, and I learned a lot from the book too, but there was defiantly bias in this textbook, which was annoying! I liked the points they made, but it was obvious the author had some biases against men, and it was suppose to be a book for gender psychology, and I feel there should of been more male information in the book. it was more of a women's studies book, which as I said made good points and presented great information and facts, but it defiantly needs to be more equal in representation! I did enjoy the chapters there were on men and found them interesting, but I feel it would be better to have those chapters written by actual males. male feminists. |
Review # 2 was written on 2013-07-04 00:00:00 Brad Dare This is a fantastic book for men and women alike. It helped me, as a woman, to understand myself better, but it would even help men to understand our differences and to gain a little insight into various underlying issues in society they may not have noticed. I would love to read an updated version, as the studies referenced were done in the 80s and 90s. |
