Review # 1 was written on 2018-05-01 00:00:00 Thomas Buckley Good book for dog owners, who live in Long Island and Queens, who also enjoy nature. I like in Queens. Most of the trails/parks listed in the book are in Suffolk County. I like close to Nassau. Ideally I'd love to be able to experience all 30 places. Perhaps I could in the years to come. What I liked about the books is that it includes 2 pages worth of info for each of the 30 places (history behind the place, what the scenery is like, and important tips). Throughout the book you'll find tips to make the walks enjoyable and safe for your dogs. I found this to be helpful. And important.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-03-06 00:00:00 Tom Keeshan Truly delightful. You don't need to have a dog or be interested in veterinary medicine to appreciate this book for what it is. The author goes to great lengths to describe some of the questions that she gets asked by dog/pet owners, and that includes breaking down some of the more scientific aspects of the job. It also helps that she approaches many of the questions with a sense of humor, making this an even more enjoyable read.
