It is about some of Kim Il Sung's involvement and leadership in the Korean anti-Japanese fight, similar to Ho Chi Min in Vietnam and Mao in China. Korea came out of world war 2 with Sung as the popular leader but then US imperialism invaded Korea an inflicted huge atrocities. Valuable on the ground details on the anti-Japanese struggle. I was concerned about how the authors uphold instances of people trying to do important things with too little sleep however.
