Review # 1 was written on 2020-12-20 00:00:00 Roger Smith I mean, it's a piece of history, one example of the slave narrative genre. But wow, it's painful to read! Every story is usually accompanied by a long string of quotations from Scripture to make it CLEAR that his life parallels the path of the believer in and preacher of the Gospel.
