Review # 1 was written on 2020-02-27 00:00:00 Luca Corai Montico This is an average read. It is exceedingly brief and because of that it doesn't touch on any of the military campaigns; just Lincoln and his handling of the war. I'm editing my review to include the new knowledge that it appears the author wrote other books on the American Civil War in much the same manner as this one; each dealing with a unique facet of the war. However, it doesn't affect my previous overall opinion and rating.

Review # 2 was written on 2012-06-26 00:00:00 Asdf Adsdf Originally published in the early 1900's...and the writing style is a little flat...recalling episodes of Lincolns life and his use of anectdotes to make a point.
