I used this in a class this semester, because the book gives an overview of apocalypses and how they have been interpreted through history. I don't know of another book that does exactly the same thing as Himmelfarb attempts here, but the book itself is too dense and too confusing. She needed a good editor to help figure out what to include in a book that tries to cover a lot of material for a general audience.

Like! Like! Like! One of the fastest, most useful reads. It got technical at the end, which is not my cup of my tea, but the information is mandatory. Very important for any writer or for readers who want to know how a novel, play becomes a film. Many thanks, Dr. Linda Seger!
