Review # 1 was written on 2008-11-04 00:00:00 Carla Gant This book is an excellent enhancement to a elementary science lesson about the life cycle of plants. It tells about each stage of the plant cycle. The plant begins with a seed. Inside the seed lives the embryo and the cotyledon. It then grows roots as its foundation and leaves. The last and final stage of the cycle is the fruiting stage, where it blossoms fruits for the next young plant. Plants need water and sunlight in order to grow. This book is excellent because it provides great pictures and detail for the students. |
Review # 2 was written on 2011-11-27 00:00:00 Al Gre I used this book as my engagement element for a science lesson on parts of plants. The illustrations are, meh, but it provides the valuable information about different types of plants and it's parts. |
