Review # 2 was written on 2016-09-28 00:00:00 Gregory Fretz Great book with some good practical advice about bridging different culture and amalgamating organizing around interests vs. organizing around values. Which I had read it earlier--it would have smoothed some of my own interactions with union activists. The loosey goosey of academic scheduling does not always sit well with people who are used to strict deadlines--even though academic flexibility is a plus in my book. This book reinforced that.
