I mainly read ch. 2 and damn I got headache from all the names. no i think I'll pass om finishing it. I reckon there'll be much better books for getting acquainted with contemporary literature.

Review # 2 was written on 2011-08-11 00:00:00 Raymond Rundus I used it to revise for an exam, and it was great - I needed a comprehensive understanding of the general issues, themes and events of the period and that is what this provides, and from a neutral political point of view. Much more useful than any of Brannigan's books.
