Review # 1 was written on 2014-01-02 00:00:00 Agnes J. Slavinski Interesting read of the changing social times across the decades in the title. This generation lived through the second world war, their parents affected by the earlier Depression, many had lost their fathers, and those who returned were not always of sound mind. Discusses the main four private church run schools in Kew - Anglican, Catholic, and the former Presbyterian and Methodist. Also interesting on a personal level as my mother's sister attended MLC in the 1950's. |
