1000 Best Quick and Easy Time-Saving Strategies by Jamie Novak ,a book that I bought from Humble Bundle's New Year New You 2020 book bundle that was full of useful hints. Jamie Novak disagree but I did read it from front to back, skipping the meal planning chapter. I just can't wrap my mind around that concept. How does anyone know what they want to eat next Thursday? What if it comes up Tacos and I want chicken soup? I have seen the meal planning suggest other places. That's just not my boat. I did think a few of the 1000 hints were reworded. Maybe that is why Jamie Novak doesn't want a person to read the book from front to back. It also pleased me when she mention a tip that I was already doing. Yeah me being productive and not realizing it. :D I took a ton of screenshots of hints that I particularly liked because this book was a pdf on my phone. I am going to weed that down to ten. Add ten little time-saving habits to make me a better me... or at least give me more time to read books. 1.When faced with a choice about how to spend your time, try asking yourself "Six Months from now, will I regret not doing this?" The answer can help bring some clarity to the situation. 2.Keep in mind that if you plan to do a task in 2 hours... It will take 2 hours. If you plan for a task to take 4 hours...It will take 4 hours. 3. Plan out your weeks instead of your days. What do you want to do this week? (working hard on this one in particular)(( Did try it. I ended up doing nothing for the weeks when I conduct the experiment.)) 4. Don't fry bacon. Microwave it. crisp bacon guarantee. (Yum!) 5. Put your purchases away when you get home. ( I have a bag mocking me at the foot of my desk. ) 6. Hold off on the fun task until the unpleasant tasks are done. It will feel like a reward. Or even reward yourself. 7. Use a timer to keep you on task. ( I do that with some success. ) 8 If the task will take 2 minutes, do it now. 9. It takes 21 days to develop a habit 10. Just do it. Do the Task. Don't over plan. Time finds itself. Either you want to do it and you'll make time-- or you won't.

I got this from a humble bundle, so I thought I might as well read it. It was okay. I liked the bullet point structure. Unfortunately I only got a handful of tips out of it that I could actually use. A lot of it was just too general to be useful, stuff I was already doing, aggressively US-centric or (really anytime technology was mentioned) hilariously outdated.
