Review # 1 was written on 2009-05-22 00:00:00 Randy Mordes Not totally helpful, but not a complete waste of time either. There were some good ideas, but nothing earth shattering. There are probably better books on the subject.

Review # 2 was written on 2018-10-10 00:00:00 Monte Craft Interesting book by a veteran labor activist about the pros and cons of Starbucks. She concludes that on most issues Starbucks really is a better corporate citizen than most -- although she calls them out for union busting. It's a thought-provoking read for anyone who's ever taken a knee jerk anti-Starbucks line (thinking back to the dozen page thread on CU when the Short North Starbucks was first announced...and yeah, I posted in that thread). Doubt I'll trade in my regular Luck Bros. stop for Starbucks as a result of this book, but it was a good read.
