Review # 1 was written on 2015-03-20 00:00:00 Garry Beck An excellent book for those who desire to fully engage in learning a foreign language. Having studied three different non-native languages, this is the first time I feel prepared for the various twists and turns of the challenging yet rewarding adventure to proficiency. As I set off for my first ever attempt at full immersion studies, thanks to these authors, I possess myriad strategies to help me if I'm struggling, as well as to promote continued success.

Review # 2 was written on 2009-08-13 00:00:00 Amy Busby An excellent, clear overview of a lot of the meta-processes behind learning a language. Probably not for everyone, though the authors make it as approachable as perhaps it could be, given how much they cram in this book.
