Review # 1 was written on 2015-06-05 00:00:00 Gregory Harris This is one of my all-time favorite children's books. I chose this book as my read aloud. Fanny, is a crane that loves fashion and clothes. She gets invited to a very fancy tea party and panics because she has nothing to wear. She finally decides to go as-is to the party because clothes dont make the person, or crane! It is very visually appealing and stimulating. With a lot of bright and detailed pictures. The words all rhyme, without being too cutesy. And the book has a very good message for children.. It doesn't matter what you wear or look like on the outside, but what is important is on the inside.
