The fast facts and glossary makes this an informative and engaging book for elementary students to understand. Students can use this book to learn literacy, not only from reading it, but by comparing South African culture to their own or write a poem/song about the facts they learned about this exciting country. This book can also be introduced during a morning meeting where the students go around the circle and talk about their culture and learn how everyone's culture and ethnicity are different.

Review # 2 was written on 2014-05-09 00:00:00 Ben Baker I got this book for Alex (my son). It didn't work. Better titles would be "How to Lose a Little Less Quickly to Your Dad In Chess" or "How to Get Excited Thinking You Will Finally Beat Your Dad In Chess But Then Not"
