Review # 1 was written on 2020-05-09 00:00:00 Michelle Shifflett Garden design history and British history in one book ❤ that's perfect for me! The book contains the history of the gardens and parks of Hampton Court Palace, their making and all the changes they had over the time and under different British monarchs. The images in the book are also very good and representative. A much needed book on this subject, I love it! 🙂

Review # 2 was written on 2012-05-04 00:00:00 Klaus Ehrlich That was a tough read! But a useful corrective one to many themes of architectural history that pervade many history overviews. And a new light on Pevsner.
