Review # 1 was written on 2013-02-20 00:00:00 Stephanie Mccoy I enjoyed reading this book. Zarebska, focuses on the role the image of La Virgen has had in Mexico and its people. Zarebska mentions the many transformations La Virgen's image has undergone with time.This is a very easy book to read and the images and illustrations are wonderful. "In the dark times in which we find ourselves, the story of la Virgen de Guadalupe is one of love and light." (Sandra Cisneros)
