Adkinson, writing under the pen name Yogi Ramacharaka, also known as the Three Initiates who authored the Kabilion, writes of techniques for healing using physical, mental, and spiritual healing. I'll admit, I'm always leary of this kind of thing, though I appreciate the frankness and transparency offered here. Adkinson uses the backdrop of Yogi practice accented by Hermetic beliefs to explain healing techniques used broadly across the spectrum of occult, new age, and popular religion. There is something to this, and while not all of it sits right for me, there are enough truths and parallels to make this worthwhile.

Half of the book is pretty good, simple, straightforward, can be applied instantly. Other half is not that applicable and he recommends his other books for it. "if you wanna learn it go read my book *" It's worth reading, but for something more in depth yeah go read something else. This is good for introduction to few practices.
