Review # 1 was written on 2012-04-10 00:00:00 Timothy Crosland This book is kind of a paradox: a wonderful overview of the lute, but at the same time, so dense in information that I don't think I can ever actually say I've finished it. I can't help but think that this book will improve with repeated readings.

Review # 2 was written on 2015-09-24 00:00:00 Vanessa Longhurst Excellent research material so it's a dip-in ongoing read - shall not say I've 'finished' reading until the novel I'm writing is completed!
