This book isn’t written by Leonard P. Howell, it’s written by Robert Hill. It’s more like an attack with lots of bias information from the “Daily Gleaner.” A newspaper that clearly displayed a lot of hate against those who were not part of the intelligentsia of Jamaica which included both Marcus Garvey, Leonard P. Howell and the Rastafari livity. There is information here about The Gong but not enough to consider this any special work towards answering important questions.

This is one of my favorite atlas reference books! :D Instead of just maps of the countries and states and such, it actually provides maps through historical time periods! Just today I used it as I was reading a book on Texas to look at the various Indian tribes and movements as well as the movements/settlements of the Spaniards and French during the same time period (early 1600's-1700's). This takes you up until just after the Korean War. Each of the periods in time before the maps also provides some pages on historical information that is very interesting, and pictures are included of artwork (later photography). In the back there are also maps of the Presidential Election votes so you can see which states voted for whom and by how far a margin each of the presidents won (up until Clinton in 1992).
