Review # 1 was written on 2016-07-24 00:00:00 Mark Krass My 4 star rating of Wilson's classic 1968 study is by no means an endorsement of his right-wing views. Wilson, considered the father of the "broken windows" theory on fighting crime, provides a window into the psychology of the police officer. For this reason his study is very helpful for historians of policing.
